Synergy
We are proud to have a fabulous community of mature believers as part of CLM. Many of our more mature members have played significant roles in the life of the church in years gone by and many serve as key volunteers now. Here are some of the different ways that you can get involved in Synergy, our ministry for those aged 60+
Synergy Midweek
On Wednesdays there is a meeting at 1.30 pm for a time of praise, prayer and ministry, followed by fellowship over a cup of tea. This is well attended and a time of blessing. Throughout the year special occasions are celebrated and enjoyed.
Residential Care Homes
There are six residential homes within the city which enjoy a monthly visit from a team which goes in to share the gospel and the love of Jesus through song, prayer and ministry. These visits are greatly enjoyed and anticipated by the residents and staff. Occasionally the residents are brought in to CLM to join the mid-week meeting which they really enjoy.
Special Events & Trips
As well as these regular gatherings, there are various day trips and visits as well as an annual residential seaside break. All of these activities greatly enhance the spirit of togetherness, fellowship and ministry to others..
